Our Program

United Against Poverty (UP) is a cutting edge not-for-profit organization focusing on collaborative partnerships with other area nonprofits, social entrepreneurship and efforts to offer Orlando locals living in poverty a hand up as opposed to a hand out. In 2020 we served over 3,500 unique families through our grocery program, 1,300 through our crisis program, and lifted 54 families out of poverty through our Success Training Employment Program (STEP). Our primary campus is located right in the heart of Central Florida near downtown Orlando.
