Effective March 19, Member Share Grocery Program hours at our three UP Centers located in Orlando, Indian River County and St. Lucie County will transition to be Monday - Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., with our Orlando and St. Lucie County locations also operating Sundays from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. To streamline our operations to focus on the increased need at our main Indian River UP Center, our satellite grocery program located in South Vero Beach will close at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 21.

As we continue to focus on serving the community during this increased time of need, our programs remain available to low-income families.

In stressful situations, many of our neighbors turn to United Against Poverty for information, direction and reassurance. Now more than ever, we are deeply grateful for your support.

“Thank you does not do justice to the gratitude I feel for all who dedicate their days working to help others.” – Eric Gray, Executive Director

We could not manage the tens of thousands of souls who visit us each year without the passionate and professional staff members. It is true that working for any community organization must be a personal passion, but working for an organization whose efforts surround so many families who are hurting takes a special type of person. The emotion, stories, and struggles of so many do not stop at the parking lot; too often this burden goes home with our team, and learning how to cope with this weight takes a special type of human being. None of us could do this work without a support system. we are proud not only of our staff, but the people who raised them and have shaped their lives, and those who support them today.
