Graylin, STEP Graduate

I was pretty much on the edge of homelessness, I’m grateful to get into a few programs here that helped me, and my family get into a living situation recently. We needed food and groceries, so we ended up walking over a mile to get to the UP Orlando Center.  We were able to get so much food at their Member Share Grocery Program so that was a big, big, life changer for us.  I enrolled into their Success Training Employment Program; it encouraged me to stay self-motivated and to have the drive to keep going forward no what I was going through. 

Upon completion of the STEP Program, Graylin has secured employment as a Manger at a local restaurant and is on his way to economic self-sufficiency.
